China banking woes…

Good article from Reuters regarding China’s crackdown on shadow banking:

“They cannot not regulate it, but they also cannot come down too hard on it.”

This topic has been a red herring for U.S. markets over the past several years, but still bears watching.  Let’s keep an eye on U.S. and European financials to see if the problem is spreading.
